Porta Finance 2022 internship program

Porta Finance, the leading Baltic M&A advisory firm, is looking for Corporate Finance Interns to join our company in one of our offices in Tallinn, Riga or Vilnius.

Our lean structure allows the Interns to work closely with senior colleagues in a challenging, yet rewarding environment. The Interns are expected to work on a variety of corporate finance projects across multiple industries throughout the Baltic States, Finland and other countries in the Baltic Sea region. The position will provide the opportunity to work on, and gain experience in, a range of challenging assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Researching and analyzing companies, industries, historical financial statements and financial forecasts


• Understanding macroeconomic and capital market trends


• Preparing of various sell-side and buy-side materials


• Building financial models, performing valuation analysis and preparing various other transaction related documentation

Required skills and experience:

• Strong analytical orientation, with great attention to detail and experience performing financial and valuation analysis in Excel and preparing presentation material in PowerPoint


• Strong academic record in finance, economics, accounting or a related discipline


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and one of Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian or Finnish


• Strong research and analytical abilities


• Demonstrable commitment to and experience with working in teams


• Self-motivation and efficiency


• Prior working experience in corporate finance or related field is a plus, but not required
